franny silverman (she/her) accompanies people along journeys of growth, healing, and transformation toward the vision of a world where all people have what they need to thrive as their whole selves in community.
franny has over 25 years of experience supporting institutional stakeholders at every level through significant changes to move their organizations towards greater equity and mission alignment.
As a practitioner of Resetting the Table’s model of transformative mediation and a trained circle keeper in the practices of restorative justice, franny supports clients and partners to have meaningful conversations across charged differences with bravery, compassion, and accountability.
An active antiracist practice and dedication to the health and wellness of Jewish diasporic communities drive her work. She found her movement elders in the world of devised political theater and both secular and spiritual Jewish communities, and she is buoyed by her ancestors – passionate secularists and spiritualists, artists and scholars, healers and survivors.
franny is an accredited executive and life coach also certified in neurodivergent and executive function coaching. She earned her BFA in Acting from CCM (the University of Cincinnati, College- Conservatory of Music) and a Certificate in Jewish Leadership in Education from the Spertus Institute and Northwestern University.
franny was in the inaugural cohort of the UJA-Federation Ruskay Institute for Jewish Professional Leadership, and was a LABA Artist fellow presenting her interactive, deconstructed Passover experience, UnSeder|DisOrder. Her writing has been published by The Mashup-Americans, Modern Loss, and Sh'ma Journal. She has performed on stages around the country. Drawing on her background in ritual and devised theater, she creates and officiates tailor-made life-cycle rituals marking time and life moments.
franny collaborates and works closely with imani strategies, Jewish Bridge Project, Resetting the Table, MPG Consulting and Kirva. She serves on the board of directors of Lab/Shul, is a founding member of SURJ’s Antisemitism Working Group, and is an active member of Tzedek Lab where she has co-facilitated the white caucus. She was a founding steering committee member of the Coalition of Faith/Spiritual/Ethical Communities for the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond and Advisory Board Member of Repair the World Brooklyn.
